Backstory: Aldebaran whisky was a strong, green alcoholic
beverage, favored by Guinan, who kept a bottle behind the bar in Ten Forward—a gift from Captain Jean-Luc Picard. In 2369, Data served some Aldebaran Whisky to Montgomery Scott, who found the beverage to be, ahem, quite satisfying. As you cannot make whisky without first making Vodka, Romulan Vodka was the logical choice for this refreshing cocktail.
