As we set course for the uncharted regions of The Captain's Table, Batch #3 beams aboard an illustrious 8-Year-Old Bourbon, expertly crafted by Distillery Master Crispin Cain. Sensors detect on the nose malted grains, clove, vanilla, and candied orange peel. Initiating tasting protocols, we engage with butterscotch, caramel, toffee, fudge, vanilla, demerara, walnuts, toasted oak, and baking spices, endowing the Bourbon with a refined & unmistakable essence. The journey's end unveils flavors of malt, vanilla, toasted grains, butter, and toffee.
Astoundingly smooth, it imprints an enduring mark upon the taste receptors. Stowed in new American oak (Quercus Alba, ignited to the third degree) from Kentucky for six solar cycles, with additional time in a repurposed Cabernet cask. This whiskey achieves a harmonious equilibrium at 46.1% ABV.
